How To Get Married Through Court
Celebrities Who Have Never Married

Marriage is a significant life goal for many people, but others couldn't seem to care less about it. Front-page relationships are a way of life for celebrities, and a wedding for two members of Hollywood royalty sends the media world and fans into a frenzy. Although many Hollywood stars walk down the aisle an embarrassing number of times, some of Hollywood's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes have never been married, despite being involved in high-profile relationships. Read on to learn more about 30 huge celebrities who are surprisingly unmarried.
Ricky Gervais
Ricky Gervais may technically be a bachelor, but he is definitely taken. Before he became famous, he met the love of his life while studying at "uni," as the British often refer to college. He has been involved with the same woman for more than 30 years, but they have never married.

Will Gervais ever tie the knot? Don't hold your breath. In interviews, he has revealed that he doesn't believe in marriage. He views it as a religious ceremony, and he doesn't believe in God. For Gervais, his personal commitment to his long-time girlfriend is more than sufficient.
Tyra Banks
Tyra Banks is a former supermodel and the longtime host of the hit reality competition America's Next Top Model. Although she has had plenty of hopeful suitors, she has had relatively few relationships. In the early 2000s, she dated ex-hockey player Mark Messier and investment banking CEO John Utendahl.

Banks has a son with Erik Asla, a Norwegian photographer who was her most recent boyfriend, but the couple broke up when their son, York, was almost two years old. For now, she is focusing on motherhood and her career. Since her breakup with Asla, Banks has been photographed with unknown men, but she has never confirmed any new relationships.
Sean "Diddy" Combs
Sean Combs has enjoyed serious long-term relationships with several beautiful women. In the early days of his career, he famously dated Jennifer Lopez. The late model Kim Porter is the mother of his oldest children. In early 2019, he broke up with Cassie Ventura, his longtime girlfriend — who is already the new wife of Alex Fine.

Over the summer, Combs was photographed with Lori Harvey, Steve Harvey's daughter. Neither Combs nor Harvey has confirmed that the two are a couple, but the media has drummed up plenty of rumors about them, ranging from pregnancy to engagement. So far, Sean "Diddy" Combs is still a member of the "never married" club.
Oprah Winfrey
Oprah Winfrey has been romantically linked to Stedman Graham, a successful author and entrepreneur, for more than 30 years. Both members of the power couple are extremely successful in their own right when it comes to their careers. Marriage or not, the two lovebirds will probably be together forever.

Winfrey has never revealed much to the media about her relationship with Stedman. During a recent interview on The Ellen Show, Stedman revealed that he and Oprah have only had one conversation about marriage. They both feel that the added pressure of marriage, along with their extremely busy schedules, could have led to an untimely end of their relationship.
Al Pacino
Al Pacino is a loving father of three who has publicly declared himself to be a hopeless romantic, despite his tough exterior. He has had plenty of girlfriends who were celebrities and some who were not famous. Among the famous, Diane Keaton and Rose McGowan are notable names.

Unlike some of the other stars on this list, Al Pacino has never made any statements against marriage. His many relationships have apparently never led to that step. The mothers of his children are Jen Tarrant and Beverly D'Angelo. Rumors also suggest that Pacino even had a brief relationship with co-star Winona Ryder years ago.
Shakira
Shakira and Barcelona FC soccer player Gerard Pique seem joined at the hip, but surprisingly the two megastars have never tied the knot. Pique and Shakira have two children, Sasha and Milan, who share both of their parent's last names. She spends much of her time (when she's not working) in Barcelona.

Before her relationship with Pique, Shakira dated Antonio de la Rua, the son of a former Argentine president. In an interview with Glam Belleza Latina, she said that if she ever did get married, she would marry Pique, but she doesn't believe marriage has to be a step in the progression of a relationship.
Sheryl Crow
Sheryl Crow is an extremely talented singer as well as a breast cancer survivor and an adoptive mother of two. Owen Wilson, Eric Clapton and Lance Armstrong are a few of her famous ex-boyfriends. She once said that relationships between two successful people often fail because one of those people has to give up a measure of success to support the other.

Crow told Good Housekeeping magazine, "I would love to get married...but I don't think marriage is the be-all and end-all. It's better to have three broken engagements than three divorces." In 2005, Crow was engaged to famous cyclist Lance Armstrong.
Jon Hamm
Jon Hamm may be single today, but he was in a thriving relationship with Jennifer Westfeldt for nearly two decades. The couple officially called things off in 2015. When they broke up, they released a joint public statement announcing the end of their relationship, which is more common with married couples but fitting for such a long-term relationship.

According to ET, Hamm's partying Hollywood lifestyle was a source of contention between the former couple. Although he has not officially confirmed anything, Hamm has been seen around New York City with Saturday Night Live producer Lindsay Shookus.
Owen Wilson
In between making the whole world laugh with his endless list of hilarious roles, Owen Wilson has enjoyed quite an active love life. His relationships have resulted in three children, the youngest of whom was born in 2014. Although he has dated a few famous women, most of Wilson's relationships have been with non-famous women he met in other ways.

Demi Moore, Kate Hudson, Sheryl Crow and Gina Gershon are a few of the celebrities Wilson has dated. He received public backlash for his relationship with Carolina Lindqvist because she was allegedly legally married when the couple had a child together.
Queen Latifah
Queen Latifah soared to fame in the '90s as a rapper, and she solidified herself as a household name when she starred in the sitcom Living Single. Although she has never made a point of hiding anything, Queen Latifah has refused to confirm or deny the rumors regarding her sexual orientation that have swirled for years.

According to the latest reports, she is currently in a long-term relationship with a choreographer named Eboni Nichols, and the couple recently welcomed a new baby into their family. Throughout her career, Queen Latifah has always been adamant about maintaining personal privacy, so don't expect to see baby pictures on social media.
Leonardo DiCaprio
Leonardo DiCaprio is a highly sought after man in Hollywood. Directors want to work with him, and many of his co-stars have commented that he was their teenage crush. He has dated Miranda Kerr, Rihanna, Bar Refaeli and more famous models than can be listed here.
"That time will come when that time comes. The truth is, you can't predict marriage. You can't plan it. It's just going to happen when it happens," DiCaprio discussed his feelings on marriage with Parade. Some believe he may finally settle down and marry his current girlfriend, a model named Camila Morrone.
Rihanna
Fans and the media seem to have a never-ending obsession with Rihanna's love life. Quickly dispelled rumors that she was pregnant have even surfaced in recent months. The singer and fashion designer has maintained long-term relationships with Chris Brown, Drake and Matt Kemp as well as short relationships with Shia LeBeouf and Travis Scott.

Hassan Jameel, a Saudi Arabian businessman, has been Rihanna's on-again-off-again boyfriend for several years. Although she tends to keep her love life relatively hush-hush, she seems to be happy with the pairing for now. Rather than living in LA, as most singers do, Rihanna has moved to London to be closer to her long-time boyfriend.
Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift is not even 30 years old, so it's not really a big deal that she has never been married. What makes it seem strange is the sheer volume of relationships — and breakups — she has had. The media has focused so much attention on her many relationships that it almost feels like new stories of Swift being engaged to some new guy surface every week.
Some Swifties believe her latest single Lover is a coy way of announcing that she is engaged, but there's probably not any truth to that fan theory. Harry Styles, Joe Jonas, Calvin Harris, Taylor Lautner, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhall, Eddie Redmayne, Connor Kennedy and Tom Hiddleston are a few of Swift's past "lovers."
Charlize Theron
Despite a common misconception, Charlize Theron and Sean Penn were never married. They were engaged for some time, but Theron ultimately ended their engagement. Before dating Penn, she was in a relationship with Stuart Townsend for almost 10 years.

Theron has reportedly had brief relationships with Keanu Reeves and, more recently, Brad Pitt. She was one of several celebrities who publicly announced her refusal to get married until gay marriage was legalized. In an interview for the movie Long Shot, Theron told Entertainment Tonight that she was "shockingly single" and very ready to mingle. After two failed lengthy relationships, she is looking for real love.
Seth MacFarlane
Seth MacFarlane is the comedic genius behind Family Guy. In an interview with Parade, he mentioned that dating fellow entertainers has been very difficult because careers in Hollywood are so time-consuming that it's hard to make time for each other. His longest relationship was with Emilia Clarke, who soared to fame on Game of Thrones.
In the past, MacFarlane has dated Tamera Mowry and Nicole Sullivan along with a few other actresses. In 2018, he was romantically linked to his Orville co-star Halston Sage. According to some magazines, the two were considering marriage. Neither Sage nor MacFarlane has ever made public comments about their relationship.
Winona Ryder
Strangely enough, Winona Ryder could possibly be "accidentally" married. On the set of Dracula, an actual priest performed a wedding ceremony between Ryder and co-star Keanu Reeves. Despite the potentially legal ceremony, the two are friends but have never been romantically involved. She was engaged to Johnny Depp for a short time, but the couple never got married.
According to her own statements, fear of getting a divorce has made Ryder apprehensive about being a bride. Divorce is so common in Hollywood — and the rest of the world, for that matter — so her fears are certainly understandable. She has been dating Scott Mackinlay Hahn, a fashion designer, for eight years. Maybe he will change her mind.
Cristiano Ronaldo
When Cristiano Ronaldo blossomed from being a gangly teenager on the Manchester United squad to being a handsome star with Real Madrid, he quickly rose to fame on all kinds of "sexiest athlete" lists. Although the world-famous soccer player has never been married, he's had two significant relationships.

Ronaldo famously dated supermodel Irina Shayk for five years. Since 2017, he has kindled a committed relationship with Georgina Rodriguez, a model from Argentina. The couple has one child together, and she helps him co-parent his oldest son (Cristiano Jr.) and a younger set of twins that Cristiano had through surrogacy.
Cam Newton
Cam Newton, the star quarterback of the Carolina Panthers, and Kia Proctor are raising quite the cute little family, but the couple has never married, in spite of sharing three children. In fact, Kia Proctor is currently pregnant with baby number four.

When Newton's first child was born, he experienced backlash from some fans who expected him to maintain a squeaky clean athlete persona. Proctor prefers to stay away from the celebrity lifestyle that comes with being a Panther, so pictures of the family together are a rare occurrence on social media. Their relationship is still going strong.
Matt Dillon
Anyone who is a fan of classic coming-of-age teen angst movies instantly recognizes Matt Dillon as Dallas Winston from The Outsiders. Years after pulling off one of the most heartbreaking movie deaths ever, Dillon starred in There's Something About Mary, where he met Cameron Diaz.

Dillon and Diaz had a relationship back in the '90s. As is fitting for a heartthrob of his generation, he also dated Denise Richards, Brooke Shields and Heather Graham, but none of those relationships resulted in marriage. For the past five years, he has been in a relationship with an actress named Roberta Mastromichele.
Lucy Liu
Lucy Liu's iconic role in the modern Charlie's Angels movie cemented her spot in the court of Hollywood Royalty. More recently, she starred in the Sherlock Holmes-based spinoff Elementary. In the past, she has enjoyed relationships with George Clooney and William McCormack.

Although unconfirmed, some reports suggest Liu was engaged to Zach Helm at one time, but current information indicates she's not in a relationship right now. She is focused on continuing to kill it as an actress and on raising her son, who she welcomed into the world via a surrogate in 2015.
Matthew Perry
Matthew Perry played Chandler Bing and married Monica on Friends, but he has never walked a woman down the aisle off-screen. Starring in a hit sitcom takes up a lot of time, and Perry has said that he regrets not shifting some of his focus toward starting a family when he was younger.

Having already reached more career goals than most actors will achieve in a lifetime, Perry says that finding a wife and starting a family of his own are very important personal goals at this stage of his life. In the past, he has dated Julia Roberts, Neve Campbell, Rachel Dunn and Lauren Graham, among others.
Jamie Foxx
Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes were a favorite couple of the tabloids for a while. At first, the couple kept their relationship very private. According to E! News and other sources, Holmes and Foxx are no longer dating. Although they were never the type of couple to make public declarations about each other, they were clearly not hiding toward the end of their relationship.

Foxx has two children, Corrine and Annaliese, although he was never married to either of their mothers. Corrine and Foxx work together on the game show Beat Shazam. Aside from Holmes, Foxx has also reportedly had relationships with Olivia Munn, Sky Nellor and Stacey Dash in the past.
Marisa Tomei
Marisa Tomei has starred in everything from My Cousin Vinny to A Different World, and her acting career is far from over. Tomei's relationship with Robert Downey Jr. had all the makings of a Hollywood romance novel. They met on the set of a movie, and during their relationship, they played on-screen couples in four different movies.

Aside from dating Iron Man, Tomei has also dated director Frank Pugliese and fellow actor Dana Ashbrook. Although they have not dated for many years, Tomei enjoyed a nostalgic on-screen reunion with ex Robert Downey Jr. in Avengers: Endgame and a couple of Spider-Man movies.
Kourtney Kardashian
Although the former couple is not currently together, Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick were such a famous couple that it's hard to believe they were never married. Despite her lengthy love affair, which resulted in three children with "Lord" Disick, Kourtney Kardashian has never said vows.

Before Disick, Kardashian dated Younes Bendjima, Luke Sabbat and Joe Francis. In her younger years, she even had a three-year relationship with one of Tito Jackson's sons. She still has an amicable relationship with Scott Disick for co-parenting. In September 2019, Kardashian was once again seen in Los Angeles with Younes Bendjima. Maybe an old flame has been rekindled?
Mindy Kaling
Mindy Kaling's real-life and on-screen life are so similar it's almost uncanny. Kelly Kapoor on The Office had an on-again-off-again relationship with Ryan, and Kaling and B.J. Novak have had a similar relationship in real life. On The Mindy Project, Kaling was really pregnant at the same time her character grappled with impending single motherhood.
In addition to Novak, Kaling also had a relationship with Corey Booker. She chose to have her baby on her own and intentionally keeps the identity of her child's father a secret. On his radio show, Howard Stern said he thinks Kaling and Novak should get hitched.
Lauren Graham
Lauren Graham, the beloved matriarch on the hit drama Gilmore Girls, has been involved in a few real-life love stories that are worthy of a movie. After recently getting close to co-star Peter Krause on the set of Parenthood, the stars have enjoyed a beautiful relationship that is still going strong.

The two legends of modern American family dramas currently live together in Los Angeles. When asked about possible wedding bells on The Ellen Show, Graham responded "We are very happy as we are...I don't know." Whether they get married or not, Krause and Graham are one of the most adorable couples in Hollywood.
Coco Chanel
As the late originator of the iconic Chanel fashion house, Coco Chanel left an indelible mark on the world of fashion. Although she lent her name to plenty of clothing, she never changed her name for a man. Of course, she certainly wasn't a single woman.
Throughout her life, Chanel formed one-half of two of Paris' most influential couples. Etienne Balsan, a textile giant, was her long-term beau, and she later dated an aristocrat named Arthur Edward Capel. Building a fashion empire may have kept her far too busy to worry about being a wife, which would have come with plenty of domestic expectations in Chanel's lifetime.
Usain Bolt
Olympic sprinter Usain Bolt is one of the fastest men to have ever walked (run?) the earth, but his jet-setting lifestyle puts a strain on relationships. Although he tries to keep his love life private, the eligible Jamaican bachelor has been linked to two women throughout his career.
Photo Courtesy: Fernando Frazão/Agência Brasil/Wikimedia Commons
By far, his most serious relationship has been with fellow Jamaican Kasi Bennet, who often appears with him in photos. Whenever Bolt is pictured with another woman, rumors of infidelity start to swirl, but Bennet and Bolt's relationship is stronger than ever today, despite any scandals — real or fabricated.
Chelsea Handler
Chelsea Handler is nothing short of a media mogul. Although she may not be the frontwoman in every production she's involved in, she is an extreme success in the entertainment industry. The former talk show host previously dated 50 Cent, Bobby Flay and Andre Balazs.
Photo Courtesy: Scott Legato/Getty Images Entertainment/Getty Images
At one time, Handler publicly stated that she did not see the need for marriage. As she has grown older, she acknowledged to People that she believes the beautiful commitment of marriage can happen without all the fanfare associated with glamorous weddings and receptions. Since breaking up with Andre Balazs in 2013, Handler has remained single but still open to relationships.
Diane Keaton
One of Diane Keaton's most famous love interests was Al Pacino. She once said they were both getting older when the two dated, and Pacino made it clear he was not looking for the commitment of marriage.
In an interview with People, Keaton said that perhaps she would have found lifelong love if she hadn't dated so many famous actors. Warren Beatty and Jack Nicholson are two of her more famous boyfriends. As a 73-year-old who has never been married, she feels like a unicorn of sorts but feels that everything turned out just the way it should have.
